Laconia Monument Company has been in business for over a century. Opened in 1880 as Conley & Conley, and purchased by the DuBois family in 1958. My name is Robert DuBois. I completed high school in Barre, Vermont , the Granite Center of the world in 1959 and attended Memorial Art School for a year and a half before apprenticing myself to the State of Vermont Granite Cutting School. After four years of training, I came to Laconia Monument Company to enter a partnershp with my father. We have manufactured some of the finest memorials in New Hampshire. I admit that I don't know everything, so you will find me easy to get along with. I would appreciate meeting you and sharing my cemetery knowledge with you.
